Santiago makes sure everything we publish is accurate and doesn't sound like garbage. He catches the contradictions, verifies claims that seem suspicious, fixes awkward phrasing, and stops us from publishing sentences that make no sense.
He's edited financial content for years and got really tired of reading broker marketing materials that say absolutely nothing in 500 words. Now he does the opposite here. If something's too vague, sounds made up, or can't be backed up, he cuts it or makes us prove it.
He runs on coffee and mate. Has opinions about commas that nobody asked for. When he's not working, he's cycling or picking fights about grammar in our Slack.
What he does: Edits everything before it goes live. Fact-checks claims and verifies data. Questions stuff that sounds made up or too good to be true. Deletes words we don't need. Keeps our tone from getting too corporate or too casual.
